Job Description:
An excellent opportunity is available for a qualified and experienced Private Client Lawyer to join a busy, thriving department in support of a Partner within our client’s friendly and diverse centrally-located Brighton office.
With above average benefits including bonus at this level, the role is full time, and the Private Client solicitor/CIlex will have a minimum of two years’ post qualification experience, and experience in taking client instructions, drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and dealing with the administration of estates. Experience in Court of Protection work would be an advantage, although not essential.
Responsibilities will include:
• Drafting Wills and draft/register Lasting Powers of Attorney, including dealing with more complex estates and Wills;
• Manage the administration of estates with limited supervision (including drafting forms to account to HMRC);
• Draft accounts for estates;
• Have experience in dealing with Court of Protection work;
• Manage your own cases in your own name.
The client is flexible in their approach to working practices, and while some office-based work is necessary, due to the nature of the work, they’ll also consider reasonable hybrid working arrangements.
I look forward to your application for this great role, however if you’d prefer a confidential and informal discussion about the role, please call Justine on or forward your most recent CV to
