Job Description:
Calling all aspiring Accountants - we need you!!
We are exclusively working with an established and thriving manufacturing business based just outside of Redditch! This is a Finance Administrator position which will be supporting with a wide range of tasks across the finance team. This role will be supporting the accounts payable team with invoice processing, setting up new suppliers, processing payment runs and sending out remittances. Additionally, you will be supporting with the sales ledger which is creating invoices, sending these out, supporting with chasing payments, reconciliation bank statements and allocating incoming payments to outstanding invoices. Lastly you will be providing ad-hoc support to the finance manager. This is a great opportunity within a stable business that will provide broad experience and the ability to allow someone who is looking to step into finance the ability to start their career.
This is a temporary to permanent role, where they are looking to view the temporary position as a probationary period. Ideally this role is looking to start quite quickly so please only apply if you are immediately available or finishing a temporary role soon!
Key responsibilities:
*Supporting with a range of finance tasks, including: *Processing incoming invoices and creating outgoing invoices
*Bank reconciliations
*Query resolution
*Chasing payments
*Posting out remittances once payments have been processed
*General finance admin support such as managing the finance email inbox.
*Support the finance manager with other ad-hoc finance responsibilities
*Communicate effectively with the internal teams to ensure any outstanding queries are resolved.
*Other ad-hoc administration duties
Candidate Attributes and Skills:
*Have previously worked within a administration role with exposure to finance support.
*Be looking for a new challenge.
*Ideally be studying your AAT or be looking to take on the AAT qualification in the near future.
*Be immediately available or on a short notice period.
