Job Description:
Why do people leave jobs?
Well according to a report from LinkedIn there are 5 main reasons.
One was money, obviously. One was greater flexibility about where you work and when. The other three were all variations on "To learn and grow".
Their conclusion? "People who aren’t learning will leave".
And that sums things up for you. You don’t mind your job or your company. But what comes next? Where can your career go? Or is it "same old, same old"?
At this firm they want their staff to get better at what they do. They want their staff to take on extra responsibility. They want their staff to progress. And because of this they have pathways in place to help people like you fulfil your ambitions. Indeed one of the two reasons they need to hire is that one of their admin team is moving onto the paraplanning one.
The other reason is that they’re growing and will soon add another financial planner to the business. And one of the reasons they can attract and keep those planners is that they offer 1-1 support, which is where you come in.
You’ll work with a financial planner, sharpening your technical skills and working on interesting cases. And you’ll work with a sizeable team of peers who’ll be on hand to help you settle in.
As for package they have that covered. There’s a salary of up to £30,000 (there is some flexibility for the right people) plus:
*Company bonus scheme
*Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
*Workplace health scheme
*Support with exams
*Free parking
*5% pension contribution
*22 days holiday plus extra days off over Christmas if the firm hits its targets
But that’s not all. They like to do things differently here so it’s not unusual for you to spend time as a team walking in the Peak District. Or going on retreats for team building and strategising. Being based in a rural location has its benefits after all.
In short this is a firm that "gets" what it needs to do to not only hire right. It’s a firm that knows what it takes to get people to stay.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
You’ll be an administrator for a financial planning firm where you’ll process new business and prepare client meeting packs. You’ll have at least two years experience in a similar environment and you’ll be big on team ethos.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ready to learn and grow? Send us a CV or a way of contacting you. We will be in touch.
If you don’t have a CV don’t worry, we can come to that later, so just send us a way of contacting you.
Everyone will receive a response.
