Quantity Surveyor / CA *Location: Billericay, Essex
*Job Type: Hybrid
Join a leading building and maintenance contracting company as a Quantity Surveyor / CA. This role is ideal for someone experienced in managing NEC4 contract documentation with precision and efficiency. You will be instrumental in handling financial tracking, schedule management, and ensuring that projects meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
Day-to-day of the role: *Administer NEC4 contract documents, maintaining detailed spreadsheets for cost tracking, timelines, and performance.
*Handle Compensation Events (CEs) and the Early Warning process, ensuring proactive management of contract changes.
*Track project performance and budget, producing regular reports and ensuring compliance with NEC4 requirements.
*Coordinate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and other stakeholders to integrate contract terms seamlessly into project execution.
*Provide insights and expertise on NEC4 clauses, guiding teams to align with contract standards and project objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Minimum of 2 years of experience in Contract Administration, ideally with a focus on NEC4 contracts.
*Proficiency in Excel and other spreadsheet software, with a strong ability to prepare financial reports and detailed documentation.
*Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
*Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
*Background in construction, maintenance, or related industries is preferred.
