Children and Families Team Manager *Location: Cotswolds & Stroud, Gloucestershire
*Salary: £50,788 - £52,805 per annum
*Hours: 37 per week
*Contract Type: Permanent
*Job Type: Full-time and Part-time available
We are seeking a dedicated Children and Families Team Manager to lead our teams in Cotswolds & Stroud. This role is crucial in supporting families and communities to ensure every child has the best chance of a happy and rewarding life, particularly those who need more help.
Day-to-Day of the Role: *Lead and manage a team of social workers and other professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and the safety and well-being of staff.
*Develop and implement a team plan that aligns with the strategic objectives of Children’s Services.
*Provide management oversight on all cases, ensuring a clear understanding of risk and quality assurance through various methods including case file audits and reflective supervision.
*Engage in continuous professional development, keeping up to date with government guidance, legislation, and evidence-based practice.
*Build and maintain quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Registered with Social Work England.
*A recognised qualification in Social Work.
*Completion of ASYE year (if qualified after 2012).
*Extensive experience in a statutory social care setting with children and families.
*Proven track record of managing a team and demonstrating inspirational leadership.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in chairing meetings.
*Knowledge of Child Protection Procedures and relevant legislation.
*Ability to manage data and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Benefits: *Competitive salary range of £50,788 - £52,805 per annum, depending on experience.
*Welcome payment of £5,000 and annual retention payment of £2,000.
*Up to £8,000 relocation package.
*Flexible and agile working opportunities.
*25.5 days annual leave, rising to 30.5 days after 5 years of service.
*Option to purchase up to 10 additional days of leave per year.
