Job Title: Purchase Ledger Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Hereford
Hours: Part-Time, 25 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 per year (pro-rata)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where you’ll play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations, particularly within the accounts payable function.
As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you’ll ensure the smooth running of the purchase ledger, helping to process invoices, manage payments, and maintain accurate financial records. This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills. You’ll work closely with the finance team to support the business’s ongoing growth.
Key Responsibilities:
*Processing purchase invoices, credit notes, and payment runs
*Reconciling supplier statements and handling queries
*Ensuring compliance with financial procedures and policies
*Supporting the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end tasks
*Assisting in ad hoc financial projects as needed
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience: Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role
*Skills: Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
*Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) is preferred
*Flexibility: Ability to work independently with a part-time schedule of 25 hours per week
