SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Start in November 2024
Location: Leicester
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £90 - £100+ per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: November 2024
Are you dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs? An established secondary school in Leicester is searching for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from November. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys in a positive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
*Provide direct support to students with SEN in their learning and development.
*Assist in promoting a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
*Work with teachers and the SEN Coordinator to deliver tailored support plans.
*Build and maintain positive connections with students, staff, and families.
*Help guide students’ academic progress and social development.
Requirements:
*Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not essential.
*A strong interest in SEN education and helping students succeed.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*A patient, flexible, and positive outlook.
