Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Solicitor with a minimum three years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in litigation, a keen analytical mind, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage a varied caseload of litigation matters, including civil disputes, contractual issues, and property disputes.
*Handle all stages of litigation, including case assessment, pre-trial preparation, and advocacy in court as necessary.
*Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
*Conduct legal research and prepare detailed reports and legal documents.
*Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
*Negotiate settlements and manage alternative dispute resolution (ADR) where appropriate.
*Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of their needs.
*Collaborate with colleagues and provide support on complex cases.
*Stay updated on changes in legislation and legal procedures.
Qualifications:
*Qualified solicitor with a minimum of three years PQE in litigation.
*Strong knowledge of relevant laws and procedures.
*Excellent negotiation, drafting, and advocacy skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Proven track record of managing and resolving litigation matters effectively.
