School Crossing Patrol Guides - East Edinburgh
Pertemps are working with our public sector client to recruit for a number of School Crossing Patrol Guides across the city.
Position Details:
Hours - 12 hours per week (times below may differ slightly depending on location)
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 - 9:00 am & 2:30 - 4:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 - 9:00 am & 12:00 - 1:00 pm
Location - Various locations across East Edinburgh
Pay rate - £12.96 per hour
Duration - Temporary, ongoing, term time only
Start date - asap
Successful applicants will be working to ensure the safety of children crossing the road on their way to and from school. You will be located at a dedicated School Crossing and will be: *Ensuring the safety of children and families crossing the road at designated times and locations.
*Using provided uniform and safety equipment to maintain the safety of yourself, children, and the public.
*Ensuring children are waiting to cross
*Managing traffic appropriately
*Report any issues or difficulties to the School Crossing Patrol Service Manager
Successful applicants will be required to obtain a PVG for Children at a cost of £59 for a new application, or £18 for an update (if you already have a PVG for Children).
