The Role:
As a Senior Management Accountant, you’ll be a strategic force in the finance team, working closely with the Finance Director to shape key financial decisions. You’ll drive month-end reporting, manage budgeting and forecasting, and deliver clear, actionable insights to senior management. This role combines hands-on accounting with the chance to influence high-level strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead month-end close and produce timely, accurate management accounts.
*Deliver in-depth financial analysis, reporting on risks, opportunities, and trends.
*Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.
*Manage cash flow forecasting and provide strategic input into capital management and investment initiatives.
*Oversee and mentor junior finance team members, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.
*Work closely with departmental heads to monitor budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives.
*Support strategic projects, budget control, and cost-saving initiatives.
About You:
*Qualifications: Part qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
*Experience: 5+ years in management accounting, with strong analytical skills.
*Skills: Advanced Excel, excellent communication, and a knack for turning data into strategy.
*Leadership: Proven ability to mentor and inspire team members.
