Description
*Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
*Documenting financial transactions by entering account information.
*Summarising current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
*Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents.
*Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
*Guiding accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
*Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
*Securing financial information by completing database backups.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*Experience within the hospitality industry preferred but not essential.
*Preferably part-qualified or qualified by experience.
*Proficiency in financial reporting and general ledger structure.
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
*Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
