Location: Burnley
Contract Type: Part-Time
Start Date: January 2025
Contract Duration: At least until July 2025, with potential for transition to a permanent role

Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to work 2.5 days per week. In this crucial role, you will lead and manage the provision for students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary for their success.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the identification and assessment of students with special educational needs.
*Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
*Collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide training and guidance on best practices for inclusive teaching.
*Liaise with parents, external agencies, and other professionals to support student needs.
*Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEN, adapting strategies as needed.
*Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
Qualifications and Skills:
*Relevant SENCO qualification or experience.
*Experience working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*A commitment to inclusive education and the well-being of all students.
