Position: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (Potential to go permanent for the right candidate)
Salary: Up to £100 per day (Dependent on experience)

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Salford. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by helping them manage behaviour, build strong relationships, and create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Work with students who need additional support with behaviour and emotional regulation.
*De-escalate potentially volatile situations calmly and effectively.
*Build trusting, supportive relationships with students to help improve their engagement and focus.
*Collaborate with teachers, pastoral teams, and parents to ensure consistent support for students.
*Encourage positive behaviours and promote personal development through tailored support plans.
The Ideal Candidate:
*Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school or behaviour-related setting.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
*Patience, empathy, and a calm approach to managing challenging situations.
*A proactive attitude with a strong desire to make a positive difference in students’ lives.
*An understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
