Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting students in their creative and technical learning? Our welcoming and dynamic secondary school in Warington is seeking a full-time ICT technician to join our team immediately! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a school environment and contribute to the hands-on development of students’ technical skills.
Key Responsibilities: *Assist teachers and staff with any technical issues and equipment for lessons.
*Support students during lessons, ensuring safety and guidance in using machinery and tools.
*Maintain and monitor IT equipment and machinery, ensuring it is safe and operational..
*Carry out routine checks, maintenance, and cleaning of workshop tools and machinery.
*Ensure all tech complies with health and safety regulations.
*Help with creating an inspiring and organised learning environment.
Requirements: *A keen interest in ICT with a proactive, can-do attitude.
*Basic knowledge of IT equiptment
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to work well in a team and support teaching staff and students effectively.
*Previous experience as a ITechnician is preferred but not essential.
*A valid DBS check on the update service is required or willingness to obtain one before starting.
