Manual Test Analyst - Capital Markets/Murex Migration - sought by leading investment bank based in London - Contract - Hybrid

Profile Summary
Our Test Team help to implement quality business/information system solutions. Their role is to ensure the quality of the deliverable, that is meets the stated requirement and provide support to the business during the Acceptance Phase.
Duties and Responsibilities
*Create high level test plans to determine testing levels for each project
*Design test treads/cases in accordance with requirements specifications
*Create and execute test specifications
*Produce System Integration Test Evaluation Report
*Review plans/cases written by other members of the systems development team
*Maintain documentation relating to applications to aid future testing
*Recommend changes to internal standards and/or procedures where appropriate
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
*In-depth understanding of the software development process and overall project life cycle (Essential)
*Able to understand business user requirements (Essential)
*Excellent business acumen and client facing skills (Essential)
*A conceptual thinker who can present complex ideas and topics to a wide audience (both technical and non-technical) (Essential)
*Good analytical skills, able to contribute to major business change (Essential)
*Self assured, dynamic, open to ideas, able to influence others (Essential)
*Able to work to tight timescales, be commercially aware, and have the ability to work well within a team structure (Essential)
*Ability to quickly react to situations whilst maintaining a high quality of work (Desirable)
*Self starter with a "can do, will do" attitude (Essential)
Essential Skills
*Testing Software Applications
*Testing/Quality Frameworks/Standards (such as ISO9001)
*Bonds and Repos experience
*Murex experience - MXG2000 and MX3
Desirable Skills
*Automated Testing Solutions
