Are you a Primary Teacher keen to make a difference in a supportive and fast-paced Junior School?
Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to fulfil a permanent position within a busy Junior school, located in Southampton. This role is set to start in January or April 2025 and is a full-time, permanent position.
The school is a special place where it has its own unique sense of community, where each child is valued as an individual and their talents and strengths are recognised, celebrated and developed! Learning opportunities within the school are rich and varied whether indoors or outdoors, and each child is given the opportunity to be the best they can be. The school is a warm, happy and supportive school, catering to pupils aged 7-11 to develop their academic and personal skills to prepare for the future.
As the KS2 Teacher, you will be a role model to the children, providing an inspiring and engaging atmosphere where pupils can absorb and be motivated with excellent teaching methods. You will provide a happy and safe learning environment and work with staff to support all pupils’ abilities, providing an adaptive teaching method where required. A small number of pupils within the school have Special Educational Needs, and so will require a passionate, patient and resilient teacher to deliver their very best.
For this position, you will:
*Be available full-time, five days per week from January 2025 or April 2025
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status with a degree in Primary Education or similar
*Have a passion for teaching within a supportive and fast-paced Junior School
*Be open to year groups, and able to hit the ground running, making the class your own
*Be willing to provide excellent teaching and helping pupils achieve to the best of their abilities
The salary for this role is currently set at £31650 to £43607 (MPS) and is a full-time, permanent role.
