*Perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
*Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and statements.
*Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
*Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to optimise financial performance.
*Provide insights to senior management on financial trends and projections.
*Participate in financial audits and assist in the preparation of audit reports.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in the industry.
*Contribute to financial risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Profile
A successful Banking Analyst should have:
*A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
*Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
*Experience with banking reconciliations
*Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting practices.
*Proficiency in financial software and databases.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions.
*Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data effectively.
