Accounts Senior

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Butler Rose are excited to be supporting a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Chichester as they expand their team and look to hire an ACA / ACCA qualified Accounts Senior. This will be a varied role which will allow you to independently manage your own portfolio of limited company, sole trader, and partnership clients. Providing an end to end service including year-end accounts preparation, client management, and the preparation and submission of all the associated tax.
Requirements:
*ACA / ACCA qualified - although nearly qualified candidates will also be considered.
*Experience managing a portfolio of varied accounting clients, preparing the year end accounts, corporation tax, personal tax self-assessments, and VAT returns.
*Recent experience working in a UK based accountancy practice is essential.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Duties:
*Independently manage a portfolio of varied clients, preparing their year-end accounts.
*Prepare and submit clients CT600 tac computations, personal tax self-assessments, and CAT returns.
*Complete some ad-hoc bookkeeping.
*Answer financial queries from your clients and conduct client account review meetings.
