Job Description:

Purpose of the Role:
On behalf of this client we are looking for a number of Inspectors which will be responsible for the inspection of aerospace components to join on a 12-month contract. Please note this role is going to be on a rotating shift pattern (mornings, afternoons and nights).
In this role, you will be using visual, dimensional inspection techniques and CMM machines to find any non-conformance on aerospace engine components. This could be intermediate inspection, receipt and dispatch of components or final clear inspection. As an Inspector, you will work with manufacturing engineers to determine the right course of action to address any non-conformance, and you will be responsible for delivering against weekly targets to meet customer requirements.
As an Inspector you will be doing:
*Work to client’s Technical Instructions to deliver consistent, high-quality Inspection across a variety of different components and product families.
*Operate a variety of Inspection equipment, including CMM-s, Micrometres, plug gauges, shadow graphs and table-top measuring equipment.
*Interpret manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.
*Assess whether the quality of components produced within the facility meets the required standards.
What we require from the candidate:
*Completed advanced level engineering apprenticeship* and NVQ/SVQ level 3 or equivalent.
*Experience of working in similar Inspector roles.
*Aerospace parts/components inspection experience - highly desirable.
*Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection.
*Please attach a copy of your certificate as proof of completing a recognised apprenticeship together with/next to your CV.
