The Company
Rapidly expanding global organisation with a diverse and dynamic business model are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Manchester, overseeing key financial processes and supporting business growth. The role would suit a first or second time mover from practice or an industry qualified individual with a solid financial accounting background.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, perform variance analysis, and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure accurate financial calculations, invoicing, and compliance with contract terms for key revenue streams.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing financial processes, driving efficiency, and managing financial risks.
• Manage financial interactions with external partners, ensuring smooth operations and reporting.
• Identify development needs within the team and implement training plans to support growth.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations, ensuring all processes are compliant with industry standards.
Key Skills Preferred
We are seeking a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with:
• Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and controls.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• A focus on process improvement and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
