Complex Care Support Worker *Location: Forest Gate

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Complex Care Support Worker to join our team, providing 24-hour care to a lovely female client with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in the Forest Gate area. This role is crucial in ensuring the client’s comfort and well-being, requiring experience with peg feed, oral suctioning, medication administration, and hoisting. Someone who is local to the area is preferred.
Day-to-day of the role: *Provide attentive and skilled care to the client, focusing on personal needs and daily activities.
*Administer medications, manage peg feeding, perform oral suctioning, and assist with hoisting, adhering to high standards of safety and hygiene.
*Work collaboratively with another carer to ensure continuous and comprehensive care.
*Monitor the client’s health condition and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
*Maintain accurate records of care provided and participate in team meetings to discuss the client’s progress and care plan adjustments.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience in complex care settings, particularly with tasks such as peg feeding, oral suctioning, medication administration, and hoisting.
*Excellent teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with other carers.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a gentle and respectful approach to client interaction.
*Relevant healthcare certifications are highly desirable.
