Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join a dynamic team within the Food, Beverage, & Tobacco industry. Our client, a global manufacturer and supplier of flavourings, extracts, and essences, is dedicated to creating impactful taste solutions that drive brand innovation and delight consumers.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing orders across various UK sites and overseas partners. Your top priority will be providing fast, accurate responses to customer queries and ensuring adherence to the segmentation process. You will collaborate with commercial teams on pricing, minimum order quantities, and logistics, while also ensuring that customers receive best-in-class information on lead times and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
*Enter orders and communicate delivery information to customers
*Maintain accurate records and perform electronic filing
*Liaise with customers, Account Managers, and colleagues across multiple sites
*Continually improve pricing and quotation files
*Administer systems consistently and accurately
*Serve as an internal customer champion and assist in various departmental tasks
*Cover for colleagues during sickness and holidays
*Provide reception cover on a rotational basis
To excel in this role, you must have proven experience in customer service and/or sales support. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of Microsoft products such as Excel and Word.
Preferred qualifications and experience include prior work in the food industry and familiarity with an ERP system.
