Job Description:

We’re looking for a WarehouseTeam Leader, to be based at our Greene King site in Tilbury. This role is very demanding and will include working within the site, managing warehouse colleagues that are loading vehicles ready for outbound deliveries the next day, timing is crucial to this role and the expectation is all vehicles will be loaded on time in readiness for delivery of goods to customers sites
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Sunday to Thursday covering the hours of 22:00 – 06:00. We do ask for some flexibility to get the beer delivered at busy times and bank holiday working is part of the shift pattern

We’re looking to offer a salary of £32,296.00 per annum, (inclusive of night shift premium) and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
*Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements and customer priorities
*Communicate to shift / team on daily tasks, changes to working procedures, H&S, Audit etc
*Complete shift handovers accurately with oncoming / off going Team Leaders / Shift Manager
*Updates team on required targets / rates, and accuracy checks, providing training and feedback to colleagues, taking action on poor performance where required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
*Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced warehouse operation
*Experience of working to agreed targets and well-versed in warehouse management systems
*Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
*Accuracy and high levels of organisational skills are required to meet the exacting standards of this shift
