Role - Teacher of English
Location - Dover
Start Date - January - July 2025 - Full Time
Salary - £31,650 - £49,084 depending on experience
Tradewind Recruitment are actively working with a good secondary school in the Dover area who are looking for a motivated and passionate Teacher of English. The role is teaching across KS3 and KS4 so someone with suitable experience in these areas is essential.
The role:
*Plan and deliver creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4 year groups
*Monitor and assess student progress and provide relevant support where needed
*Attend both departmental meetings and parents’ evenings when required
*Liaise and work closely with others in the English Department to ensure consistency
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
*Proven experience as a Teacher of English across KS3 and KS4 year groups
*Excellent behaviour management skills to ensure students achieve the best outcomes in each lesson
*Legal right to work in the UK
*Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
