Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist solicitors in managing caseloads of private client files, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax Planning, and elderly client matters.
*Help prepare legal documents and correspondence related to case preparation and management.
*Conduct legal research and provide support on complex cases.
*Maintain and organise client files to ensure they are updated and managed efficiently.
*Participate in client meetings and help in preparing meeting summaries.
*Contribute to the team’s business development and networking efforts to enhance the firm’s profile.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience as a paralegal, preferably in private client or similar practice areas.
*Strong understanding of Wills and Inheritance law is advantageous.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*Ability to work effectively within a team and support complex legal tasks.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
