Description
*Lead the design process for womenswear products
*Partake in inspirational shopping trips around the UK and Europe
*Collaborate with the retail team to ensure product designs align with brand image and customer expectations
*Directly manage a team of junior designers, providing guidance and feedback
*Regularly conduct market research to stay current with fashion trends
*Present design concepts and final products to senior management
*Work closely with the production team to ensure design feasibility
*Oversee the creation of tech packs and design specifications
*Ensure the successful execution of designs from concept to production
Profile
A successful ’Womenswear Designer’ should have:
*Experience designing womenswear jersey multi-product
*Proven experience in a womenswear design role, and must have experience working within a fashion supplier
*Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a team
*Excellent knowledge of fashion trends and design principles
*Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
*A creative mindset and a strong attention to detail
