Job Description:
We’re seeking a dedicated Employment Associate to join our esteemed client in Leeds. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals, providing comprehensive legal advice on a diverse range of employment matters. You will manage both contentious and non-contentious cases, contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships.

Description
The Employment Associate will:
*Provide legal advice to a broad range of clients, including company owners, managers, HR professionals, in-house lawyers, public and private sector organisations, and senior employees and executives, on various employment matters.
*Manage a diverse caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
*Draft employment documents and advise on issues such as maternity and paternity rights, discrimination, whistleblowing, employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, mediation, dismissals, redundancy, TUPE, and employment tribunal claims.
*Provide transactional support as needed.
*Build and maintain strong client relationships.
*Contribute to business development initiatives.
Profile
The Employment Associate should be:
*A solicitor or equivalent with 3-5 PQE within an employment commercial team.
*Proven ability to manage a caseload and provide sound commercial advice.
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
*Adherence to guidelines and procedures.
*Understanding of clients’ needs and expectations.
*Flexibility in approach and willingness to work outside normal office hours, if required.
