Job Description:
Payroll Assistant *Salary: £13 per hour
*Location: Bury St Edmunds
*Job Type: Full-time (Part time options available)

We are seeking a Payroll Assistant to manage end-to-end payroll operations for all company employees. This role requires a high level of accuracy in calculations, deductions, and payments, and ensures compliance with all payroll-related regulations. Day-to-day of the role: *Process end-to-end payroll operations for all company employees, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions, and payments.
*Maintain comprehensive employee payroll records and handle payroll queries efficiently.
*Prepare detailed payroll reports for management review.
*Ensure strict compliance with all payroll-related regulations and legislations.
*Collaborate with the HR team to ensure seamless payroll and benefits administration.
*Update payroll software with employee job changes, salary changes, and other relevant data.
*Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the payroll process.
*Collaborate with the Operations Officer to support and enforce health and safety policies and initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *A background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
*Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
*Strong knowledge of payroll practices and related laws.
*Excellent numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
*Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication.
