Job Description:
Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Air Export Coordinator for a well-established busy Freight Forwarder based in the Manchester area.
Key duties and responsibilities:
*Quotations.
*Producing all documentation for export shipments.
*Completion of customs declarations.
*Track shipments.
*Follow up on Pre-Alerts / Post Flights
*Authenticating supplier invoices.
*Completing customer invoicing within revenue recognition policy.
*Adding accurate costs to the system to ensure financial reports correct.
*Recording correspondence in eDocs.
*Dealing with queries, both shipment and invoice.
*Promotion of additional services to clients.
*Ensuring all internal SOP’s are followed correctly.
*Awareness of Deferment and Government Gateway accounting procedures.
*Ensuring any tasks within Workflow are actioned quickly.
Person Specification:
*Good communication skills
*Good organization skills and effective time management & working practices
*Manage time effectively
*Commercial awareness
*Attention to detail
*IT Literate in Microsoft Office
*Problem solving
*Applicant would ideally have 2-3 years recent relevant industry experience with previous involvement in Air Exports from quote to delivered.
*CW1 experience an advantage but not essential as full training and support will be provided.
