Production Operative
*Salary Guide: To £25,000 - £29,000 PA
*Location: Harwich
*Permanent Position
*Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Friday, 8:30 am - 3:45 pm
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join established contract packaging company. This role involves working closely with production line equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a focus on improving production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
*Setting up and operating a range of equipment, filling, labelling and shrink sleeving machines.
*Responding to breakdowns
*Monitoring line efficiencies
*Machine maintenance
*Operating various production machines
*Undertaking all production tasks as required
*Ensuring all products are handled with care
*Full Training given
Experience / Skills
*Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
*Mechanical skills and knowledge of production machinery would be beneficial.
*Ability to troubleshoot and repair production line equipment would be beneficial - training available.
*Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
