Financial Controller *Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day from home)
*Location: Guildford 
*Salary: £60k - £75k per annum + bonus
We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our Senior Leadership Team, overseeing all financial aspects of my clients UK business within a larger international group. This role is integral to their strategic planning, offering a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director and Leadership team to enhance financial processes and drive business performance.
Day-to-day of the role: *Develop and implement strategic financial plans alongside the Leadership team.
*Provide accurate and insightful financial advice, analysis, and reports to support decision-making.
*Ensure the timely delivery of monthly and annual financial reports.
*Offer forecasts and insights on financial trends to aid in long-term planning.
*Lead the annual budget process and monitor cash flows and financial transactions.
*Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with internal controls.
*Represent the finance department in projects and transformation programmes.
*Collaborate on monthly reporting, process optimisation, and budgeting.
*Responsibility for one member of staff.
*Attend Senior Leadership Team meetings to discuss and strategise on financial matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Must be a qualified finance professional (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
*Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
*Strong financial and strategic planning skills are essential.
*Excellent interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail.
*Proficient in managing financial risk and control activities.
*Advanced Excel and analytical skills are necessary.
