Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.
*Provide guidance to management and teams on SHEQ policies, including developing site-specific procedures.
*Manage permitting and inspections, ensuring all relevant information is documented.
*Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, creating corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
*Coordinate SHEQ training programs to ensure team readiness for safe operations.
*Monitor and report on SHEQ performance indicators, identifying improvement areas.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
*Holds IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications (or working towards them).
*Qualified in SMSTS (Units 1-3).
*Background in utility or construction site environments, with strong knowledge of CDM 2015.
*Preferred qualifications include Lifting Operations accreditation.
*Experience in preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and incident reports.
*Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
*Physically fit and detail-oriented, capable of managing responsibilities under pressure.
