Job Description:
Looking for a role that offers true flexibility, up to 39 days of annual leave and a market-leading 28.97% pension contribution? This could be your next career move!
We’re hiring an FP&A Manager to join a team at the heart of innovation. This is a unique opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the organization while working with cutting-edge tools like Alteryx and Power BI.
The Opportunity:
Become part of an award-winning finance team, nationally recognized for excellence. You’ll contribute to developing and maintaining medium to long-term financial models, working collaboratively to secure sustainable funding. This role allows you to influence major projects, including fee reviews and strategic submissions, while building on funding models rooted in activity-based costing.
Your responsibilities will include analysing financial and non-financial data to uncover insights, automating processes for consistency, and supporting projects by developing robust business cases. You’ll also advise on affordability and should-cost modeling for large-scale procurements, ensuring compliance with key financial guidelines.
Continuous improvement, training, and development are embedded in the culture, and the organization invests heavily in staff, offering the support needed to excel in a hybrid work environment with flexible arrangements for a healthy work-life balance with a minimum one day a week onsite and no set core hours.
What We’re Looking For:
*Qualified or part qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA or equivalent)
*Strong commercial acumen and the ability to thrive in environments of ambiguity and uncertainty.
*Proven ability to influence and challenge stakeholder decisions effectively.
*Proactive and skilled at building trusted relationships.
*Intermediate Excel proficiency.
*Desirable: Experience with activity-based costing, financial analysis, or should-cost modeling.
*Beneficial: Familiarity with Alteryx and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
What We Offer:
*Salary: Up to circa £48k
*Flexible working: Truly flexible arrangements with no core hours
*Hybrid setup: Minimum of 1 day per week onsite
*Leave: Generous 39 days of annual leave (including bank holidays)
*Pension: Market-leading contribution up to 28.97%
*Professional development: Investment in staff, with a culture that focuses on continuous improvement and growth
This is your opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization and make a tangible impact on strategic financial planning and analysis. Ready to transform and be part of a team where your input truly matters?
