Job Description:
The Role
Nigel Wright is partnering with a dynamic business in Newcastle City Centre seeking a motivated graduate to join their team as an IT Administrator. The role will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of our tech infrastructure administration.
Duties: *Managing and procuring licenses, IT equipment and other necessary items
*Collaboration with the finance team and our finance system, Workday, to manage purchases against the IT budget and issue POs
*Track shipments and liaise with our third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery and use initiative in finding alternate solutions in the event of delays
*Managing scheduling within the IT team and carrying out other administrative tasks
*Assist in tracking and coordinating activities between the BA, Facilities, Facilities, and IT teams
The Person
Skills/Attributes: *Exceptional attention to detail and written / verbal communication skills
*Exceptional organisational skills
*Curiosity and an ability to question and develop processes and operational efficiencies
*Ability to work collaboratively across teams and a range of stakeholders with the ability to influence and impact up to a senior level
*Ability to deal with multiple competing priorities and be agile to changing business needs
*Prior administrative experience within a corporate environment would be advantageous
*Minimum academic requirements of 2:1 Bachelor’s degree from a Russell Group university with good A-level grades (or international equivalents)
