We are looking for an experienced a multi-trade who is experienced in carrying out various maintenance and repairs to properties in Somerset. You will be joining a dedicated and expanding team to support in manging services to tenanted and void properties.
  
Main Responsibilities:
 
*You will be working to a schedule and as part of a supportive team to carry out general repairs and maintenance to internals and externals of properties including resolving defects
*Carrying out masonry/stonework repairs to walls, chimney stacks, general brickwork, patch plastering of walls and rooms
*Assist in repairs and installation of concrete floor slabs, paths and paved areas
*Conduct repairs to fencing or installation of new fencing
*You will be responsible for the fitting of aids and adaptations for tenants with disabilities which would include handrails, ramps and railings
*Carry out repairs to properties affected with damp and mould, such as Dryrod damp -proofing, tanking systems and chemical treatments
*Undertake other trade repairs such as minor plumbing / carpentry repairs, tiling, and painting
*Ensure all works are planned and managed in line with timelines and ensuring that follow up visits are avoided
*Liaise with repairs and void supervisors, other trade teams, schedulers, planned team and external contractors
  
Job Requirements
*Must have a driving licence
*GCSE standard or equivalent

*Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
*City & Guilds Maintenance Operations NVQ2
*Health and safety Qualification
*Experience in social housing
