Unqualified/Overseas-Trained Cover Teacher Location: Brighton
Availability: Flexible
Working Hours: 08:30-15:30
Job Type: Day-to-Day, Short-Term Bookings
Salary: Competitive Pay (£110-£140 per day)

We are seeking Cover Teachers to join our team working with schools in the Brighton area, providing continuity in learning during staff absences. This is an ideal position for people who are looking to build experience as a teacher. Although the role does not require higher education certification strong transferrable skills are essential.
Positions that often have good transferrable skills
*Under 11’s to Under 16’s sports coach
*Scouts Leader/Cadets Leader
*Extra curricular and activity leaders for adolescents
*TEFL/ESOL Teacher
*Teachers trained overseas
Day-to-day of the role:
*Stepping into various classrooms across Brighton to ensure continuity in learning during staff absences.
*Teaching a range of subjects and age groups, with each day presenting a new challenge.
*Engaging students and maintaining a positive learning environment.
*Adapting to different classroom settings and school cultures.
*Implementing existing lesson plans and ensuring a smooth educational experience for students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience as a cover teacher or transferable skills.
*Maths and English GCSE
*Eligibility to work in the UK.
*Adaptability, reliability, and effective management skills for groups of young people.
*Strong ability to build rapport with young people and good interpersonal skills.
*A passion for education and a commitment to positively impacting student learning.
