Job Description:
Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for an experienced Hydraulics Fitter for a leading Manufacturing Client in the Bridgend area.
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulics Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in hydraulic fitting techniques following hydraulic schematics.
This role involves the assembly of components, ensuring that all work meets the highest quality standards.
The Fitter will work closely with other team members to deliver projects on time and to specification.
Duties
* Fabricate and assemble components using hand tools and power tools.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics accurately.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in hydraulic fitting is essential.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively.
* Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical instructions.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday/Days.
The hourly rate is £13.00 to £14.00.
