Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join a rapidly expanding team at a dynamic, client-focused accountancy firm in Milton Keynes. In this role, you’ll be a key player in planning, executing, and completing audits for a variety of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead planning, fieldwork, and completion of audits across a varied client portfolio.
*Produce audit reports and ensure timely delivery to the Audit Manager.
*Provide training and support to junior team members, reviewing their work and encouraging their growth.
*Work on audits for specialised sectors, ensuring compliance with sector-specific regulations.
*Develop and maintain client relationships, providing a high level of service and identifying opportunities to add value.
Requirements:
*ACA, ACCA qualified or equivalent with a solid background in audit and accounts.
*Previous experience in a similar role, with exposure to different client types, including regulated sectors (Charities, FCA, Solicitors).
*Strong technical knowledge, especially with auditing standards, and the ability to apply these in a practical, client-focused way.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and juniors.
*A proactive approach, with the ambition to contribute to the department’s growth.
