Job Description:
A prestigious international IT and communications solution provider that enables clients to maximise their productivity while delivering first class communication is looking for a Sales Director for UK and Ireland with an IT solution selling background to be responsible for the thriving office, with the ability and skills to drive and motivate the team through the next stage of growth.
Along with a salary of circa £100,000 per annum, you will also receive up to 40% OTE, a car allowance (£6,000) and private healthcare.
As Sales Director for UK and Ireland, your duties will include:
*Driving accountability for delivering the required monthly KPI’S, meeting plans, and other required metrics
*Leading the team to embrace and drive sales opportunities through the established sales process.
*Recruiting, selecting, training, and equipping sales team members for success.
*Evaluating team members and providing them with regular and timely feedback with constructive input on how to improve their skills and abilities to perform in their respective roles.
*Conducting bi-annual performance appraisals for all team members.
*Being a strong liaison between the Company, channel partners, dealers/integrators, and end-users. Always being on the lookout for ideas and programs that will strengthen the business and provide input directly to Company headquarters for consideration.
*Identifying new market opportunities and developing executable plans to win new business.
*Maintaining and fostering strong internal relationships with internal groups such as Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, Finance etc to facilitate and coordinate the team’s ability to grow their business and overcome obstacles and objections
*Overseeing the development and execution of key account plans. Being actively involved in meeting with National and Key Accounts and assisting in the development of an account strategy.
*Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity and providing timely feedback to the Company
*Actively participating in industry trade show events and regional channel partner events
The Sales Director for UK and Ireland will possess the following combination of experience, knowledge and skills:
*Graduate/Graduate Calibre.
*Proven Track Record in Staff management with a strong passion for developing team members to expand their skills and realise their full potential as salespeople and ultimately leaders
*Hands-on approach in supporting team members in the execution of their strategy and overcoming obstacles and objections
*A degree of proficiency in computational skills (e.g., Office365), CRM, analytics, pipeline management, process management
*Solution selling experience in the IT, communications or AV industry is required
As part of this role, you will be travelling 60-75% of the time, as well as attending the Brighton office 1-2 times per week.
