Position Murex Business Analyst
Contract Initial 6-month contract
£800 per day (Inside IR35)
Location London, Thames Court

Role Responsibilities The Murex Business Analyst will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Murex for back office operations, supporting trade processing and settlement changes, and ensuring optimal system performance. They will develop custom scripts, lead integration projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure regulatory compliance. Additionally, the role involves gathering business requirements, conducting gap analyses, executing comprehensive testing plans, and managing stakeholder communication. The analyst will provide training, engage in production support, and continuously seek process improvements while staying informed on industry trends. We are seeking both front office and back office Business Analysts who can adapt to various project needs and collaborate across teams.
Essential Skills
*Strong Murex system knowledge, especially back office modules.
*Proficiency in Murex MxML workflows, data mapping, and scripting.
*Programming skills (e.g., Java, Python).
*Experience with database management and SQL.
*Knowledge of financial products (FX, MM, Fixed Income, Commodities).
*Understanding of trade lifecycle management.
*Familiarity with CLS interface and settlement processes.
Desirable Skills
*Proficiency with Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation.
*Knowledge of Linux.
*Experience with microservices architecture.
*Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
