Financial Controller
City of London, hybrid
£75,000-£80,000 plus bonus
Our client, a boutique financial advisory and accounting firm based in the City of London are currently searching for a Financial Controller to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities include:
*Prepare and oversee the production of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
*Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and perform variance analysis to support decision-making
*Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations
*Analyse costs and identify areas for savings, driving strategies to improve cost efficiency
*Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for operations and optimise cash balances
*Act as the key finance contact for internal and external stakeholders for the allocated client portfolio, ensuring robust financial systems and processes
Skills required:
*Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
*Extensive experience in financial reporting from accountancy mid-tier practice firm or the industry
*Real estate experience is required
*JV accounting experience is a big plus
*Knowledge of IFRS & UK GAAP
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to be proactive and autonomous; hands on mentality
*Systems implementation experience advantageous
