We are partnering with a leading international insurer to find a strategic lead for their Catastrophe Risk team. This role offers the chance to define industry-leading practices in catastrophe modelling, analytics, and research.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a global team focused on natural catastrophe and terror modelling.
Collaborate with risk leadership to shape vision and strategy.
Mentor and develop team members while driving impactful research projects.
Present insights to third-party capital partners and represent the organisation at industry events.

What you will need:

Proven experience in leading technical teams.
Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in a relevant scientific field.
Deep knowledge of catastrophe reinsurance and modelling.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in R, Python, SQL.
