We’re seeking a future team member for the role of CASS Directory to join our UK Compliance Team. This role is located in Manchester and does not include any international travel - hybrid.

In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic Compliance Team, working collaboratively with the Business to deeply understand and advice upon our Regulatory Risk. You will do this by: *Representing Compliance at CASS Forums to provide oversight and challenge.
*Liaising with and overseeing the business and Senior Management in respect to existing and emerging issues, risks and breaches
*Representing Compliance on Regulatory Change Projects that are impacted by CASS
*Liaising with Line of Business Compliance in relation to new business and new products for any CASS considerations
*Performing Regulatory Risk Assessments in relation to CASS and helping develop the annual Compliance Plan in relation to CASS.
*Representing BNY at relevant industry events/ forums.
*Representing Compliance on Client engagements
*Providing timely and accurate Management Information where relevant to internal stakeholders
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: *Degree educated or a strong academic/professional work record with particular preference for accounting, legal, Risk/Compliance background.
*A compliance qualification would be a distinct advantage.
*Proven experience in the UK Financial Sector, with a strong background in Client Asset compliance or assurance.
*Focused attitude to work with the ability to constantly meet deadlines while ensuring attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.
*Must be able to understand and apply outcome focused regulation and have a sound risk awareness whilst maintaining an awareness of commercial pressures on the firm.
