Our client, a leading US practice now expanding in the UK, seeks a high calibre Associate to join their specialist team acting for lenders (both financial institutions and alternative capital providers) in the UK and Europe for commercial real estate finance transactions. Overseeing a deal team, including local counsel, duties include;
*writing complex loan agreements with a good understanding of the dynamics of intercreditor agreements
*running transactions
*identifying security perimeters and overseeing the drafting and negotiation of security documentation
*engaging with counterparties, both legal and commercial
You must be a qualified UK solicitor from a leading law firm, holding or eligible for a valid Solicitors’ Practicing Certificate, with at least 6 years PQE used to acting for real estate lenders including  experience of both loan-on-asset financings and loan-on-loan financings.
