Hays are looking to hire a contractor able to help a Risk and control Oversight team to develop and maintain a comprehensive process to proactively identify and reduce operational risk.
Individually, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive processes to identify and reduce operational risks within Fixed Income Middle Office, and Commodities. You will work with teams across 2LOD and 3LOD
Further responsibilities will include
*Point of contact for global Fixed Income Middle Office, Commodities and Syndicates
*Perform proactive reviews and identify best practices
*Establish and maintain a robust control environment
*Develop a broad and detailed understanding of the organization’s landscape, culture and technology.
*Help contribute to governance and the facilitation of the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA, i.e. Risk & Control Self-Assessment) as required by the MCA Standard including the assessment and appropriate approval of risk associated with business changes.
*Support teams in the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework, including Risk Control Policy, Control Standard, Issue Management Policy, Lesson Learned Policy and Control Inventory.
*Assist in performing a detailed analysis on the identification of issue root cause,
