Job Description:
Join Macquarie’s Fixed Income and Currencies team as a Foreign Exchange and Rates Sales and Trading Analyst.

In this role, you will support the team’s efforts in trade pricing and execution for foreign exchange and rates derivatives with private fund and sponsor clients.

What role will you play?

You will be trained to support our hedging services to a range of private fund and sponsor clients globally and be part of a market leading team in this area. A part of your role will also be to facilitate regular client communications via email, Bloomberg chat, and phone, as well as receive, price, execute, and book derivatives transactions in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for underwriting structure and financial positions of private equity clients and their portfolio companies. Your role will also include managing daily reconciliation of trade positions and revenue, as well as liaising with internal support partners including Credit Risk Management and Legal as well as other business verticals, with the aim to increase desk efficiency, risk management, and client service.

*Possess a strong numerical background, and familiarity with computer programs. Prior exposure to coding is preferred
*Flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
*Strong communication skills to clearly and concisely articulate complex findings.
*Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Math, Finance, Economics, Engineering
*Excellent analytical, numerical reasoning, written and verbal communication skills
