Job Description

Role Overview:

Brookfield Asset Management is looking to add a full-time intern to the Hospitality Real Estate team (London office), for a duration of 6 months starting in January 2025, who will work closely with a seasoned team of hospitality investment professionals in both M&A and portfolio management. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work on high profile transactions and portfolio companies throughout Europe and to interact with and support the global investment team network.

Key Responsibilities *Working with senior Brookfield management on deal origination and dispositions
*Performing complex financial modelling and cash flow analysis
*Participating in every stage of deal execution and supporting the deal flow with ad hoc tasks
*Preparation of investment committee memorandums
*Assisting portfolio company management teams with a wide range of strategic activities including but not limited to bolt-on acquisitions, (re-)financings, business plan forecasting, strategic planning and other operations
*Conducting market research and tracking of industry trends
Technical Skills *Major in engineering, hospitality, business, finance, economics, real estate or law preferred but not required
*Previous real estate M&A internship experience is beneficial
*Genuine interest in hospitality real estate
*Strong analytical and financial skills as well as proficiency with Excel, Power Point and Word
*Self-motivated individual with a high level of attention to detail
*Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of another European language is an advantage (preferably French, German, Spanish, Greek or Italian)
