Job Description:
Our client is a well-known building society with headquarters in Swindon; As one of the largest savings and mortgage providers in the UK, 15 million members are at the heart of everything they do.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Data Analyst for an initial contract running to April 2025 (the end of this financial year) with scope for extension. This is a flexible hybrid working arrangement with some presence expected in the Swindon office.
Purpose of the Role:
Our client, a major UK building society, are undergoing a huge marketing campaign across the UK. The purpose of this role is to provide data-driven insights to the marketing team to maximise the effectiveness of this and future campaigns, particuarly with regard to branding. You will be analysing the effectiveness of existing strategies, helping to track cost, assessing how campaigns are performing against their forecasts, building out reporting dashboards and more. This is a hands-on technical role involving coding in SQL and SAS.
As a Marketing Insights Data Analyst you will be responsible for:
*Identifying trends and patterns within large datasets to guide marketing decisions.
*Creating impactful visualisations to acheive stakeholder buy-in on marketing strategy.
*Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment of data insights with business objectives.
*Delivering regular reports and presentations to key stakeholders to inform campaign adjustments.
*Continuously optimising reporting processes for improved efficiency.
What we require from the candidate:
*Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within a marketing team or related field.
*Strong proficiency in SQL and SAS for data analysis and reporting.
*Experience with data visualisation tools and creating dashboards.
*Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
*Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
