About our client

This is an exciting opportunity to join the fund operations function of a fast-growing European mid-market private equity investor. Working across the operations function this role will support senior management and will work across fund and group finance, portfolio monitoring, portfolio valuations, portfolio analytics, process improvement and supporting the investment team on acquisitions and exits. The role will work with and support the head of the team in the oversight of the day-to-day operations function whilst partnering with the rest of the business through the investment acquisition and exit process. What the job involves *Review of the production of financial statements produced by Luxembourg and Guernsey entities and supporting business leads across operational matters
*Oversight of auditors and communication with external fund operations advisors
*Production of investor reporting and responding to investor team queries
*Supporting business functions with projects such as new portfolio company acquisitions, continuation investments and restructurings
*Production of compliance and regulatory reporting and review of external advisor’s data across portfolio analytics, tax, compliance and regulatory analysis
*Calculation and invoicing of management fees
*Review and continuous maintenance of investment analysis, investment structures and investor analytics
*Assisting management with the implementation and process improvement of fund operational systems and controls
Who we are looking for *Chartered Accountant (or equivalent)
*Financial services experience would be desirable
*Exceptional attention to detail
*Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, modelling experience an advantage
*Happy to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
*Self-motivated, proactive and with a strong work ethic
*Engaging personalist: able to interact with a broad range of service providers
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
