Management Accountant Opportunity - Fast-Growing Company in Gloucester

About the Company:

You’ll be joining a fast-growing and highly successful company based in the Gloucester area. The company offers attractive perks and a culture that values growth and development. The role involves collaborating closely with key stakeholders, and you’ll work primarily from the office to build strong, face-to-face relationships.

Your New Role:

Reporting to the Finance Director, your key responsibilities will include:

*Assisting in the preparation of monthly consolidated and entity-level management accounts, along with ad-hoc board pack analysis.

*Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

*Managing the Fixed Asset Register, including updates for additions, disposals, and depreciation.

*Delivering accurate accruals and prepayments listings with supporting documentation.

*Establishing and managing the monthly intercompany reconciliation process.

*Posting journals to ensure a timely month-end close.

*Providing key support for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

*Conducting supplier statement reconciliations and recommending payments.

*Preparing payments for bank approval.

*Assisting in the preparation of short-term cash flow forecasts.

*Performing expense analysis and reporting as needed.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

*Qualified or studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA

*Proven experience in preparing management accounts, cash flow forecasting, and costings

*Strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail
